Disorder or trauma/stress response?

The shocking truth behind psych Diagnosis that your GP doesn’t know or doesn’t want you to know!!

Disorder or trauma/stress response? Permanent disease? or symptoms of unprocessed trauma and compounded stressors?

Anxiety, overwhelm, diagnosis. disorder or trauma responce

Diagnosis?

Permanent disease or mislabelled trauma/stress response.

In the throws of compiling high-value content for my readers and psychHacker group, I could see a gap in my work. I expected you all to know which lens I view your recovery and healing, growth and resilience through.

An explanation, first of all, is needed of the now emerging and changing viewpoints on behaviour and responses and how they apply to treat trauma and behavioural diagnosis moving forward into and beyond 2023 and the illumination of findings now exposing the old for exactly what it is, outdated and detrimental to clients and patients.

Coming out of Psych Sciences Degree and formulating Rapid Neurocognitive Technique through the pursuit of the most potent tools to support and hold space for others on their journey to recovery and healing, I was lucky enough to think critically for myself and have the courage to ask questions that weren’t being voiced in a lecture hall or online forums.

The most pressing: “Aren’t the behaviors of most who have been diagnosed with a psych disorder a symptom of unprocessed trauma and compounded states of stress?” Next was: “Are they not simply trauma responses on a continual feedback loop that can be processed and unlearned?” The next flowed easily “Is this not what Neuroplasticity is?” “Aren’t the trauma responses a neural pathway shocked into the system to protect the victim from future harm that the victim has yet learned to process and disentangle from?”

My next article focusing on anxiety will start with the next paragraph and then lead into signs, symptoms and “cures” to out-of-control anxiety and trauma responses.. But to publish that article without first sharing an insight to the emerging realisation that:

“A disorder is viewed as incurable by mainstream therapists but the reality is, the symptoms of said disorder can be simply broken down and expose a misconception that is being peddled as a literal life sentence of suffering and anguish.” would be presumptuous and arrogant of me to assume that everyone already has this understanding and viewpoint.

How confusing is it when we don’t know what’s going on? When we start having strange symptoms and our once pleasant and chilled demeanor has morphed into something unrecognisable.

We feel out of sorts, agitated, nervous and confused for no apparent reason. It seems our grip on who we used to be has slipped away with the dawning of a new day and the person in the mirror is distastefully unrecognisable.

Even now yet another disorder in the DSMV is “trauma response disorder” a complete overreach of assumptions and over-clinicalisation of a human condition in response to trauma and stress.

Before We venture too much further into the library of articles to come, it’s imperative you are aware of a growing understanding with the new wave of mental health therapists and specialists. There is a movement going on at the time of this Publication where many emerging specialists are recognising what was formerly known and labeled as “disorders” are simply stress and “trauma responses”.

A diagnosis with the word “disorder” attached, was formally a death sentence to any form of normalcy in the clients’ life. From that point forward, the client is labeled, pigeonholed, and medicated for the rest of their natural life with little to no light at the end of the tunnel for them and their suffering. Leaving billions of clients and patients worldwide left defeated, disempowered and facing the eternal couch in a therapists office till death do their part.

“From that point forward, the client is labeled, pigeonholed, and medicated for the rest of their natural life.”

That in itself is enough to trigger a lifetime of anxiety around the thought of becoming psychologically unstable in any way. The idea of having to face the rest of your natural life medicated, in therapy at least twice a week, no solutions, at the whim of outdated paradigms and therapists whose mindset it was to stay within their learned narrative no matter the cost to the client.  Incredibly these diagnoses are given out like candy by underqualified general practitioners who work out of a diagnosis handbook with a prescription pad in hand at the ready. AUtowriting a script for Zoloft or whatever SSRIs they are currently taking a kickback for. Shocking right?

Decades of Therapy…

Yesterdays nightmare when you book with PsychHack.

Decades of therapy yesterdays nightmare with Psychhack. RNCT

When the old-school disorders are viewed through the lens of trauma/stress response the outcomes starkly differ. Where the prior on one hand is a patient/client chained and enslaved to the deep dark misery and suffering of their permanent diagnosis and a lifetime of untested medications. Lumbering the anxiety, fear, trauma, pain, and depression around with them shamefully day to day.

Anxiety

“A patient/client chained and enslaved to the deep dark misery and suffering of their permanent diagnosis and a lifetime of untested medications. Lumbering the anxiety, fear, trauma, pain, and depression around with them shamefully day to day. “

To and fro they stumble, trying to look as though they have it together but don’t realise their physicality, stature and micro expressions, their word, inflection and language betray them. Anxiety and tormented, they drag themselves to their work, bungied back to an uncomfortable leather couch of an indifferent therapist.  Whose aim it is to monitor you and uphold the illusion that you are destined to become a grey suffering and weeping version of your childhood joyous self.

Good intentions or not, they uphold the belief the prescription they print for you to pass to a supplier of rarely/under-researched chemical substances with unknown side effects as they ask benign questions that lead you absolutely nowhere. Confirming the feedback loop you’ve convinced yourself of.. That, this is it for you for the rest of your life.

When you choose Psychhack. you choose rapid results because we are solution focused.

We view our therapists, as well-meaning as they are, as people that can help us, and assist us in finding the answers to stop the struggle we have with the inner faceless demons that rage within and tear us apart from the inside. We are there because we don’t have the answers and aren’t therapists..

“Aren’t therapists there to assist us in finding the answers to stop the struggle we have with the inner faceless demons that rage within and tear us apart from the inside?” you ask…

They should right? Tell us/teach us what to do and we will do it… But we are given no solution nor direction on where to start looking for answers to our eternally seeming suffering.

All the while we are expected to rejoin society sporting a facade that is portraying a calm and together individual. Don’t get me wrong they have worked hard to be where they are unknowingly holding down their patients with misguided but with good intentions.

The New wave of specialists coming to the fore bring with them the light millions if not billions of people today and yesterday have been secretly hoping for. Answers, solutions, healing, and empowerment. No one wants to be a victim, but we are not shown or taught the tools to avoid it. We all want productive lives but we aren’t shown the ways to produce them for ourselves.

The Moment we are able to view behaviours through a lens of responses we are able to locate the cause and free you from your suffering. This is Why I spent over a decade studying human behaviour, studying neuroplasticity, trauma recovery, trauma on the brain and nonverbal communication with world experts. I found as I studied and obtained multiple modalities for trauma recovery that no one tool is perfect for every one.

The melding and incorporation of multiple modalities in a single session in the moment, bespoke for each client was and still is the most powerful and most rapid pathway to healing there is. This Includes anxiety.

As we know, anxiety can’t be avoided, it’s a part of our blueprint. But the level and intensity of anxiety CAN be regulated and debilitating anxiety is curable, it is all in the lens in which you view it and the approach you take!

Viewing undesired and disruptive behaviours and behaviour patterns as Trauma/stress responses rather than a permanent psychological disfigurement that must be labeled, boxed and pigeonholed is the most progressive way forward in the realm of psych treatments and facilitation.  Approaching treatment with the view that Anxiety is often a trauma/fear response is THE KEY to your recovery.

“The melding and incorporation of multiple modalities in a single session in the moment, bespoke for each client was and still is the most powerful and most rapid pathway to healing there is.” RE: RNCT at www.psychhack.au

This was proved to me time and time again with the 76 participants in a trauma recovery program I wrote in my third year of serious study. Through that incredible group, I was able to develop Rapid Neurocognitive Technique (RNCT).

A modality that cherry-picks the most potent aspects in the moment of the 12 modalities I was already trained in combined with the courses on recovery after trauma. Transforming a previously believed “life sentence” of a trauma survivor, where they were once looking down the barrel of twice weekly therapy, probably an annual 8-week stay in the local psych ward, a handful of antipsychotics, anti-anxiety and anti-depressants that have never been proven to work, only to numb.

Rapid Neurocognitive Technique isn’t just a modality that is imposed onto the client. RNCT heals as it’s taught to the participant. Over the course of 12 – 16 weeks (max of 2 sessions a week) not only is the modality passed on and shared but the participant is empowered to learn self identify and self-process as they graduate out of sessions and into their most abundant life yet. (coupled with recovery courses the outcome is incredible).

RNCT becomes a daily practice where a 15-minute process can come down to a 20-second check-in, regulate, and process whatever it is that is triggering the need for the process.

In today’s world of constant fear-mongering and terrorising from all mainstream media outlets urge to grab our attention, RNCT is the circuit breaker to the daily horror show we have woken up to and trudge through in the pursuit of a peaceful and prosperous life.
